Before I go

As announced by the Center for Education Reform: it's true.  Edspresso is moving to a new home with CER.  And I'm moving on to new endeavors. 

Why the change?  As readers know, Edspresso has always had a broad focus on education reform generally – school choice doesn’t always take center stage. While the site is a valuable and popular voice in the school reform community, it fits better under the mission of a multi-talented organization like CER than an issue-specific one like the Alliance.  So rather than simply pull the plug, we decided to turn the reins over to an ally who could keep the site moving onward and upward.  

Overall, I think this is the right move for everybody involved, myself included.  No bridges are being burned here; I’m leaving under the best possible circumstances.

It has been a singular honor, not to mention a whole lot of fun, to build an all-new blog from the ground up and rub shoulders with some of the best minds in the school choice movement.  I’m leaving the Alliance an even greater believer in school choice than when I arrived.  And I don't anticipate straying too far: I want to remain engaged in the movement in some capacity, and as you might imagine, I have every intention of staying active in the blogosphere.
